Marine Life Gulfport Mississippi photo shoot
[edit]in summer of 1958 John Gary, the singer, was also a champion scuba diver and appeared at Marine Life in Gulfport, MS. A publicity photograph of him and two female divers at Marine Life was published in the Clarion Ledger (Jackson, MS) newspaper around that time. Does anybody in his family have that picture? It shows him with two girls in bathing suits who worked at Marine Life that summer. I'm one of those girls, and I had a copy of the newspaper photo, but it was destroyed along with my house in Katrina. Can someone check, maybe with his family, and see if it is still available?
